It has been a cold wet day here, but son says it's stopped raining now.
Went to parents for the weekend and came home yesterday morning. Still recovering from the horrendous wait for the bus last Thursday. I worked until 5pm and then went out to get the bus, (complete with suitcase, vanity bag and some shopping I had got in my lunch hour), to go to Mums. The bus should have departed at 17:07. It didn't come. So myself and about a dozen others waited for the next one 18:07. (very cold and wet by this time). That one didn't come either. The next one was a private bus contracted to Essex CC that was 5 minutes late. Still got to parents in the end (19:45). Had a very enjoyable time.
